Welcome to Furzebray Specimen Carp day ticket lakes in South Molton, Devon, England. Furzebray lakes offers top quality day ticket carp fishing, for specimen mirror and common carp in the South West of England.

Set in the heart of the tranquil Devon Countryside, surrounded by woodlands and green fields it offers the Day Ticket Carp Angler one of the best carp fishing and holiday venues in the South West of England. These matured looking lakes and gardens are home to some of England’s finest strains of Carp, which include Horseshoe and Orchid Lake cross and English Leaney cross, that have been hand picked.

The Lakes

There is approximately 120 carp present in the Island Lake most of which are over 18lb with 80+ fish over 20lb and 13 known 30lb carp to a lake record of 46lb 4oz. Willow lake is stocked with approximately 200 fish 8lb to 25lb +

The lakes have a wealth of features to challenge the angler, with islands and overhanging trees, bars, and marginal features making it a complete fishing experience and a haven for Carp and wildlife.

The Island lake was built and designed by Tony Kingdon in 2006 and Willow Lake in 2012 and a third lake called Copse has been added in 2015. Tony was a full time member of staff with Exeter Angling Center for over 10 years before he returned home to create and run the fishery bringing a wealth of coarse and Carp Fishing Knowledge.



Well it has been really good season with many anglers catching their PB on Island Lake, The fishing went a little quiet in the lovely autumn weathe

Over is period we have seen the fish go totally mad up to spawning and then playing hard to get as the dry warm weather came in but
