The last week as defiantly been one for the big fish!! Leigh Short had a fantastic session in the inlet swim where he banked three fish, Charlotte at 38lb12oz, 3 Scales at 28lb 12oz and the Random linear at 27lb 12oz, this was Leigh's first three fish from the lake, some way to start ,and a new PB. Jez landed three fish in his week stay at Oak View Lodge , the pick of the bunch a stunning 24lb mirror!! Frazer Scott also broke his PB with Black Spot at 32lb then followed up with a 27.12lb carp all caught using Furzebray boilies!!

Paul Gregory landed a cracking 23lb mirror from the Lawn to end a run of blank trips. This week has seen some nice upper doubles landed even though the weather has turned a little colder. Most of the fish are falling to boilies fished with pellet. Willow Lake is now producing a good number of doubles to twenty pounds + so well worth having a go if you cant get on to the Island Lake £15 for 24hrs or £10 per day.
